OMG everyone, if you did not receive the holiday catty in the mail, please send me an email to request to be added to the list. Be sure to provide me your mailing address.
You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE the products in this catalog. My fav…well, if you know me at all …it’s all the paper!! The Let it Snow DSP on page 20 has the cutest snowmen mittens (not that we need those in Floriday…LOL) and the photo ‘realisticness’ of the Feels Like Frost DSP on page 42 is absolutely stunning!
If you’d like to join us for World Card Making Day on October 5th, we’re going to be using both of these designers series papers and so much more to create 4 holiday projects. Be sure to check out the calendarpage and RSVP to reserve your spot.
Do you love to coordinate your cards with your gift wrap? I sure do but sometimes I can’t seem to find the right stuff at the local shops so, I create my own. This month’s tutorial teaches you how to make a 4″ x 4″ square swivel topped box that is 1″ high but this type of box can be any size you need for the gift you are giving! You use the same designer series paper stack to create both your card and to decorate the box and WhaaaaLaaaa, coordination at its finest…just makes my heart happy! The designer series paper used to decorate this box is the Twinkle Twinkle DSP from the 2018 – 2019 SU! Annual Calendar.
If you need any of the products listed in the tutorial, I would be honored if you shopped with me. You can do so my clicking directly on any of the links in the tutorial or by the links below. Don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st – for every $50 you spend, you can earn FREE items so be sure to check it all out!
Join My Team – there’s a ton of extra special incentives for joining the Stampin’ UP! family before March 31st. You can check it all out here and if you have any questions, send me an email…but hurry, times running out!

For a July 2016 challenge, we were asked to create a “Christmas in July” themed “some-thing-or-other” (no one ever says you have to just make cards). While spending time brainstorming, my 7 year old grand daughter popped in and asked if she could help me and this project was born!
I am going to be telling my age here but there was a time in my life when smart phones, cell phones, Blackberry’s or iPhone’s didn’t exist. My family moved to Florida and away from my cousins and grandmother and the only way to keep in touch was through letters and cards. There wasn’t any texting or FaceTime available like there is today.Don’t get me wrong — I LOVE that we have this new technology because I can send quick notes to my family and friends but I sure do love making and sending handmade cards. Here’s a few samples from a recent creative time in the art room!
I would like to challenge you to make and send a card today! Surprise a far away friend, a close neighbor, or to resident’s in a nursing home. To be sure — you will brighten someone’s day!
You too can go back Old School and save some money while you’re at it!
