The date of this post is Sunday, October 9, 2016 and this past week and days to come Hurricane Matthew has and is wreaking havoc in his path. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with those who have suffered loss!
Across America, during the month of October, there are a number of initiatives to continue raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness. This Stamp Set Sunday is such an event. While my family has not been stricken with any breast cancers, my grandmother, aunt and recently my mom, have passed as a result of complications resulting from cancer and I, like millions of others continue efforts to raise awareness and monies in the hopes that one day, we’ll finally eradicate all cancers!
Well, I know it is nearly Halloween and many of you are creating amazingly spooky projects for our October 31st trick-or-treaters, but I’ve not typically been that person to enjoy the halloween festivities so I have foregone bringing you any witches, gosts or goblins. Well I simply didn’t have any such images in inventory to create Halloween so instead, I bring you two featured stamp sets today: One Big Meaning and Botanical Blooms (Botanical Blooms can be bundled with Botanical Builder Framelits Dies). I hope you enjoy the tutorial and are inspired by these projects to create something of your own to share!
This Weeks Projects
My team was challenged to create 3D projecs for our recent team meeting and was the inspiration for three of the projects featured using the Gift Bag and Gift Box punch boards. If you have these in your stash, I challenge you to bring them out and give them a go this holiday season to create customized gift packages for your family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you all so much for visiting today! Please stop next week for another edition of Stamp Set Sunday!
If you would like to learn more about the Stampin’ UP! Opportunity, I would love to share it with you. Stampin’ UP! is a solid organization that absolutely loves and supports its demonstrators! I’ve not found a direct sales company more willing to provide the tools necessary to help you grow your business into what you desire it to be. I’d love to have you on my team, even if it is only to help you save money on your own craft supplies! Email me at email@example.com and we’ll set up a time to chat!
Hello everyone! We are back again with another episode of Stamp Set Sunday. Today we feature Stampin’ UP!s Snow Place and Snow Friends stamp set and the coordinating framelits set. I don’t know about you all but with as busy as life can get, there isn’t really much time to be fully prepared for the holiday’s unless I start now! So, along with last weeks holiday cards, this weeks projects are all gift card holder projects. All the designs used in today’s projects are for the Christmas holiday season but with a change of paper and embellishments, they can easily be for birthday’s, anniversary, thank you’s or just when you want to send someone a gift card!
For a July 2016 challenge, we were asked to create a “Christmas in July” themed “some-thing-or-other” (no one ever says you have to just make cards). While spending time brainstorming, my 7 year old grand daughter popped in and asked if she could help me and this project was born!
