I am going to be telling my age here but there was a time in my life when smart phones, cell phones, Blackberry’s or iPhone’s didn’t exist. My family moved to Florida and away from my cousins and grandmother and the only way to keep in touch was through letters and cards. There wasn’t any texting or FaceTime available like there is today.Don’t get me wrong — I LOVE that we have this new technology because I can send quick notes to my family and friends but I sure do love making and sending handmade cards. Here’s a few samples from a recent creative time in the art room!
