Flowering Tulips - Let Today Be The Start of Something New

How many times can you say Beautiful Brushed Brass Butterflies before you get all tongue tied?  This now retired designer series paper is the star of this card using the paper that is all tulips! Using the instructions below, you can easily replicate this card using any patterned paper. 

Finished Card Size: 5 ½” w x 4 ¼” h

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut a card base of 5 ½” x 8 ½” of a piece of Pool Party card stock
    1. Score at 4 ¼”
  2. Cut a 4” w x 5 1/4” h piece of Basic White card stock.
  3. Cut three (3) pieces of Flower Fields DSP: QTY 2 – 5” w x 1 ¼” h / QTY 1 – 5” w x 1” h
    1. Adhere to Basic White card stock using Snail Adhesive
      1. NOTE: be mindful of the pattern so that when you adhere the DSP to the Basic White card stock, it is placed correctly.
    2. Adhere to card front using Snail adhesive
  4. Use the 2 ¼” circle from the Layering Circles die or a 2 ¼” circle punch to cut a piece of Pool Party card stock.
  5. Use the 2” circle from the Layering Circles die or a 2” punch to punch a piece of Basic White card stock.
    1. Using Pool Party ink, stamp the sentiment Let Today Be The Start of Something New from the Flowering Tulip stamp set.
    2. Adhere to the Pool Party layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Adhere the whole sentiment piece to the card from using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Add a Brushed Brass Butterfly to the sentiment piece.
  8. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 4” w x 5 ¼” h
    1. Adhere to the inside of the card using Snail Adhesive
